At The Bra Recyclers, we provide a hassle-free solution for planet-conscious individuals who want to recycle their gently used bras in an environmentally responsible manner.
By recycling their bras and new underwear with us, our community of recyclers actively diverts textiles from landfills and supports a sustainable and socially responsible initiative.
Our process ensures that bras are recycled by being repurposed for someone in need. This means that your old bras and new underwear can find a new life and benefit others through our nonprofit arm, The Undie Chest while reducing the environmental impact of textile waste.
Every year, Americans produce 11.3 million tons of textile waste, which is about 81.5 pounds per person.
Are All Bras Repurposed?
Through our partnerships with organizations and shelters, we distribute recycled bras and new underwear to those needing access to proper undergarments.
However, our textile recycling services assist by transforming items that we cannot repurpose into valuable community resources.
We convert these items into punching bags, which are used to teach women self-defense techniques. Even unwanted undergarments can be utilized in multiple ways and given back to the community.
